More about Lucas

Lucas graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2005 and has been practicing in the lower mainland since. He joined City Sports & Physiotherapy Clinic in 2008. He has continued to expand his knowledge through further training in the area of myofascial release. Lucas also completed a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in 2000. Lucas sees massage as an important part of healthy living for much of his life. Health problems in his early twenties gave him a greater understanding of the need for rehabilitation and the role that touch plays in helping the body return to optimal function. While he is interested in all forms of massage, his primary techniques as a practitioner focus on fascial and deep tissue techniques. He also focuses on postural realignment and works with his clients to create better habits to avoid chronic pain patterns. He has a high level of interest in sports and has always taken great enjoyment from the challenges it offers. His first love is soccer and he continues to compete. Lucas also enjoys baseball, golf, softball, basketball and rugby. He is also a fanatic about most professional sports and enjoys live games as often as possible. His other interests include movies, photography, live music, trivia and crossword puzzles.
