A doctor’s referral is not required for physiotherapy or massage therapy services. Some extended health plans or private insurance providers may require a doctor’s referral for reimbursement. Please check with your provider.

Q: Do you accept ICBC or WorkSafe BC claims?
We accept both ICBC and WCB claims.
Q: Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
Please bring the following if you have them:
- doctor’s referral or referral from another health care practitioner
- Carecard/PHN number
- any diagnostic imaging results ie. x-rays, MRI, CTScan, ultrasound
- list of medications
- appropriate gym clothing
- shoes worn during regular exercise or activity
Q: How quickly will I be seen for my first appointment?
We will make every effort to book an appointment within 24 hours.
Q: How long is my appointment?
Your first physiotherapy or massage therapy appointment will be approximately 60 minutes. Ask your therapist how long subsequent visits will be as it may vary depending on the injury. Please arrive 10 minutes before your initial visit to complete the necessary paperwork.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
We require 24 hr notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment, or a cancellation fee is charged.
Q:What should I bring to my appointment?

- BC Carecard
- ICBC or Worksafe BC claim number if required
- Appropriate gym clothing
- Footwear worn during exercise or activity.
Q: Does the government cover any treatment costs?
The BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) will cover a total of 10 treatments per calendar year of physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic and non-surgical podiatry services for those who qualify for Premium Assistance.
